Breaking: Another one BITES THE DUST: AMY ADAMS GONE

UPDATE:  Adams was not technically fired. She was not reappointed to the seat. The administration may, properly, state that the mayor has the discretion to make his own appointments.

Mayor Moore has given Amy Adams the ax.  Adams sat on the Jeff Planning Commission.  She opposed the Mayor’s plan for $1  a year leases for properties the City had spent huge sums for.   Thus, the disagreement cannot be tolerated and she is GONE

Would this make Mike Moore the leading cause of unemployment in Jeffersonville?

Mindy Christian, who formerly worked for JPD and was the city’s Emergency Management Director, wasn’t axed, but felt forced to seek other employment after some of her duties were removed and repeatedly hearing rumors that Mike planned on getting rid of her for not supporting him. Her husband was ill and had been told he no longer had a job (also with the city) to go back to when he was able, so she couldn’t afford to wait around for the new mayor to axe her.

You forgot Dennis Julius being removed from redevelopment and 1 or 2 that were removed from the police merit commission.

Tell 'em how you really feel
