Officials urge drivers exiting I-65 just north of the Ohio River to obey the 25 mph speed limit on the new ramp, which is a much sharper right turn than the previous ramp.”

From the C-J and INDOT: “Project officials urge drivers to follow the 25 mph speed limit on the new ramp.” yes, start slowing down about a mile BEFORE ypu get to the bridge!

    A mile should do it.

    Any is right!

    The drivers,
clinching their teeth and gripping the steering wheel,
    while blasting down the highway
trying not to get run over as they exit the bridge
will have to make a sharp “controlled skid maneuver”
    to the exit lanes.
A challenge of multiple lanes fighting for position
on the “ski ramp” with a vicious downward slope! !
Do the ski ramp exit lanes slope improperly to the right
and “undulate” with a big dangerous dip?

Even the upmost dedicated, observant, and skilled motorist
    while watching in all directions,
may have to floor it and blast right,
    locate the correct lane,
then possibly have to quickly lock up the brakes
as the downward slope of the ramp seems
    way toooooo steep for highway
    safety and MANDATED standards……..

Whew! this is going to a real challenge for the stressed diver!

    Goofy in ‘Motor Mania’ (1950)

Goofy stars as a Jekyll and Hyde character,

    Mr. Walker/Mr. Wheeler.

    When he’s a pedestrian
    he’s mild-mannered and rational;
    when he’s a driver
    he’s mad and bad!
