    A nice honor for Goliath

The Mighty Red Devils are in the
Final four and they put Goliath on the commemorative
    T-shirt!

A City Hall source says that “Chopper woman”
had her very own copies of the images
that are going to be on the t-shirt
    delivered to her today
by an operative for the Mighty G !

Lordy it was busy today! Due date. But if the operative would have stuck around for about 5 more minutes I would have had time to talk. I pinned one of the copies to our bulletin board. Don’t we have to get through the sweet 16 before we go to the final four though?

Nope. Indiana now has a two game Regional format
    for all four basketball classes.
    1A, 2A, 2A, and 4A.
If you win the first game of the Regional,
you are now officially in the “Sweet 16”
    for each classification!
If you win the regional, you are in the Final Four!
The IHSAA has a scattered site tournament.
    There are two Semi-State sites
with only four teams left in each
    of 1A, 2a, 3A, and 4A.

The survivors are in the FINAl FOUR.
One win away from their championship game!
(Note: Borden is also in the Final Four for 1A
and will play at the same location
as the Red Devils in Seymour on Saturday, March 16th.
Borden is also only one game awy from
their championship game. Clark County fans can see two teams on Saturday!)

    Hoosier Hysteria!
    Approximately 329 Indiana high schools
    competing in the four IHSAA
    basketball classifications.
    Excellent talent and very tough
    competition!
    Getting to the Regional level
    is extremely challenging
    as the competiton
    gets difficult very fast.
Clark County fans get to watch both
    Borden and Jeffersonville
    Saurday, march 16th,
    compete at the same site
in their respective Final Four games!
    (Will the Mighty Goliath
    have a hospitality suite?
    Yagermeister?)

I know a small but very loyal contingent from the classes of 1949, 54, 78, & 2007 are making the trek up 65 Saturday!!…Not sure it’ll be the same as when there were morning and then evening games with all that glorious time in-between to, well you know. 🙂 Should still be fun though.
