Does this guy have a serious drinking problem?

Perry has been 100 percent abstinent since January of 2012.

I don’t know if I can trust a man who hasn’t had relations in two years.

        • February 9, 2014 at 4:33 pm

I think he meant libations, not “relations” lol.

Yes he does, but he is in recovery and has been clean and sober for over two years. Involuntary sporadic urine tests.
Look at his weight and coloring, he is not on or using anything!

Perry McCall running is a game changer!
Attempts to slime him will prove futile.
Mr. Call is a very good candidate,
    very knowledgeable and capable.
    Attacking him would backfire.
The Auditor’s office would benefit greatly
    from having a professional person
    like him as the administrator.

This is not an attack or a slime attempt, but the first thing that crossed my mind after reading this is no other dem had the gonads to run so the dems got a “name” to run. And if he wins he will only serve a few months, resign, and the dem cacus would fill the seat. I hope this isn’t the case, but….this is Clark County……I would love to see an end to party politics and go to non partisan elections that would force voters to vote for a person rather than vote for a party. This would put an end to the straight ticket voters that both parties have benefited from over the years.

Everything is always a conspiracy with you, maybe Mr. Mc Call decided he was the right man for the job and decided to run. I think he’s an excellent candidate with a great chance of winning…a fresh new face is what we Dem.s need

Straight party voting is as passe’ as the leisure suit , it went out in the 70’s…

By the way what are you this year a Democrat or a Republican ?

The dems did not ‘recruit’ Perry. That’s my pard you are talking about. Nobody can make him do nothing HE doesn’t want to do. Believe me.

Nope, Perry is legit. He has the intelligence to do the Auditor’s job very well.
Plus Mr. McCall is definitely his own person.
He is looking forward to improving the Auditor’s office.
    Lots of funds to review!

That would hurt the Republican Party badly this year
as they enter with a slight edge
and are counting heavily on the straight ticket vote to carry
    those nominees.

Actually, the Democrats have a much better line up
of capable individual persons that are running.
Be careful what you wish for!

Anyone who wants to talk shit about Perry, who happens to be more intelligent than most of the morons currently in that courthouse combined as well as a really, really nice guy, needs to take a good look at the Clark GOP central committee and quality of some of the doofus candidates they pull off a volunteer fire truck or out of the family tree to fill their ticket with. Nice to see someone running with an actual understanding and propensity to comprehend government finance and other apparently complicated issues. But of course it’s a conspiracy. That whole courthouse needs a cleaning out.

I am with you on the whole courthouse needing to be cleaned out but I don’t know if there is enough cleaning supplies to do it any justice, no pun intended. I Don’t know much about Floyd Co. but I never seem to hear of the typ of stuff we have going on here happening there. Are they better or just better at hiding it?

Sleepy posted in the rival CCC concerning KV:
“I’m still waiting on Mr. Vissing to reduce the size and scope of
government as he promised……I’m getting old waiting.”

This is going to be fun!
Having a candidate with the education, experience, and ability
of Perry McCall running for Auditor
is going to reveal some interesting things
as he becomes even more familiar
with the various funds and their restricted uses.
The SBOA audits will be analyzed…….

    GNB Tax Desk
    Another totally cool aspect
of this Auditor’s race will be the
    Continued Education
    of the Goliath
    in tax and spend matters!!!
The Mighty G got some mighty headaches
over that dreaded, dern “Tax Policy” stuff
from arguments in the 2011 Mayoral election!
